To create a rainbow gel manicure, you will need:
- Gel nail polish in seven different colors (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet)
- A UV/LED lamp
- A nail brush
- A top coat
Once you have your supplies, follow these steps:
- Prepare your nails by filing them to your desired shape and pushing back your cuticles.
- Apply a thin coat of gel base coat and cure it under the lamp for 30 seconds.
- Starting with red, apply a thin coat of gel nail polish to the entire nail and cure it under the lamp for 30 seconds.
- Repeat step 3 with the remaining colors, curing each coat under the lamp for 30 seconds.
- Once you have applied all of the colors, apply a thin coat of gel top coat and cure it under the lamp for 30 seconds.
- Use a nail brush to remove any excess gel polish from around your nails.
